Emily Carr (1871-1945) became one of Canada's most beloved and original artists due to her hard work, artistic and spiritual passion, dedication to life-long learning, and exposure to different influences and experiences.
From the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Carr's paintings are set in context with the work of artists who inspired her and were inspired by her. This exhibition illustrates the shift in Carr's painting style from her early roots in 19th century...

TD Victoria International JazzFest 2010 is taking place at various venues in downtown Victoria from June 25 - July 4, 2010.
